Our Story

Hide and Seek is a space for remembering.

Remembering how to gather.
How to laugh.
How to be seen.
How to belong to ourselves and to each other again.

We created Hide and Seek as a space for people to gather more playfully and more fully as themselves.

At the heart of our work is the knowing that wisdom doesn’t have to be serious to be profound. It isn’t about performing enlightenment or pretending to have it all figured out. We’re not interested in perfectionism or bypassing our humanity.

We believe it is in embracing the fullness of being human — the messiness, the tenderness, the shadows, the wonder — that we discover both ourselves and the quiet truth that none of us are separate.

Joy is sacred. Play is sacred. And healing isn’t reserved for yoga classes or moments of perfect stillness. It can unfold over a shared meal, during the vulnerable first beats of meeting someone new, or in the quiet recognition that none of us are as alone as we thought.

Hide and Seek exists to create spaces where people can let their guard down, reconnect to their intuition, and rediscover the parts of themselves that may have been hidden beneath the noise of everyday life.

A place to remember that maybe life wasn’t meant to be taken so seriously and magic is everywhere.

Meet Your Founders

Jennifer Coats

Jennifer has been teaching yoga for nearly 20 years. Her classes are anchored in breathwork, mindful movement, alignment-based biomechanics, and yogic philosophy. The movements and postures explored in her classes are used as tools for self-awareness, exploration, and growth. Her goal is to guide students away from a performance-based practice, and into one of presence, healing, and wholeness.

Michelle Chan PT, DPT

Michelle is a dancer, singer, and human lover who believes every person deserves to feel joy and pleasure in their body as it is, right now. She is fascinated by the body’s innate resilience and its capacity for adaptation, healing, and change. Drawing from her knowledge of the body, embodied movement, and intuitive practice, she works with the body through gentle, hands-on touch, allowing intuition and curiosity to guide her listening. Her work is an exploration of the relationship between the physical body, energy, and inner awareness, creating space for the body to soften, release, and reconnect with itself.

Ash Atwood

Ash has always been curious about people and the quieter layers beneath the surface. Before offering intuitive guidance, she spent years working one-on-one with clients as a personal trainer, where her interest shifted from changing the body to understanding the stories they carry. She became fascinated by the patterns that shape us, the ways we adapt to protect ourselves, and what becomes possible when we see ourselves from a wider perspective. Today, Ash channels heart-centered guidance with clarity, compassion, and playfulness. She helps people connect with their true nature, making more room for authenticity, freedom, and a deeper relationship with themselves.
